Shirley also cofounded 1000 Rivers, an investment firm based in Silicon Valley and Belgium,  focusing on early stage teams in Web3, metaverse and crypto commerce and games. 

She was cofounder of DOGI, an earlier player in building a blockchain game platform. 

As a seasoned executive in business development securing  major partnerships in the global game industry, she has rich experiences with various cross-the-border mobile game, crypto game and advertising companies, such as Yomob, Nexway, Yeahmobi, Beintoo, etc. 

Prior to transforming into a business profession, she was a system programmer. 

With a M.S. degree in Computer Science, she was a core system developer at NASA Houston, and at HP as manager of the Operating System Dev Manager.
